Yep thanks to ian for leading our group, few on there I haven't done before and some cracking oldies I have.
Will try and get some piccys on now :/

Sounds like fun. I've sorted the oil leak today. Good job I didn't come along as the exhaust decided to separate in the centre. All sorted now so I'll keep an eye out for the next one.

Cant get the pics on via the phone, tried every which way so you'll have to wait till ive got them on the laptop :D
Forgot to mention, nice to meet the new faces too ;)

Yes, I got off with a badly sprained neck and a badly bruised leg along with various other bruises and cuts!
Looks like a near enough complete rebuild if the chassis is ok. I've got 2 straightish panels and a few bits of glass, the seats a cubby box, seat box, radios and centre console and a steering wheel left of the cab :p so if anyone's got any spares going I am in dire need!

Glad you're fairly OK by the way

Cracking day out on Saturday, shame about the weather and James's broken Landy but a really good days laning. Glad you all enjoyed the route, looking forward to a mid week run next time you've got room.
A few pics from the day, sorry about the quality it was a bit dark for taking action pics.

The first, minor, breakdown of the day. Mark's self opening window..

Sorry Mark, the wheel was well up but by the time the camera fired it was nearly back on terra firma.

Snow forecast on the hills this coming weekend so I'll definitely be out for a play.

Glad you're still with us Will. I can't help with panels unfortunately but try Stuart from LRX Off-road at Newhaven on the A515 tel 0129868722 or 07875566584. He breaks a good range of Landys and his prices are reasonable.

Nice pics ian, doubt I'll be out again this weekend even if there is snow on the floor :(
Shame to as I dont live at the bottom of a hill like when it snowed last time.......earned mi sen a few quid that night towing cars :D

I can't make it either as we are in London. Plus I haven't even looked at what happened to the t/box yet...

Sorry for the late thank you to Ian but can not get this on my phone properly.
So finally got internet at home and on laptop.
I really enjoyed the lanes so thanks for the route and also a big thanks to Dave for leading.
Disco did really well following all the defenders lol
Can not wait till the next outing.

I might be up for a bit of that, especially if we get some snow :)

Was out around Woodhead and Strines on Saturday but despite the forecast all we saw was spectacular rainfall and gales.

We aren't around between the 27th and the 30th, but other than that yeah we would prob be up for something.

Anyone fancy a few hours on the lanes New Years Day? A late start to let the (mental) fog clear then hit a few. Meet at the Yonderman for an 11am get away. Lots of very soggy lanes round here at the moment so we'll head out a bit further afield than usual and do some nice rocky lanes, several of which I've not included in previous routes.
There may be an interloper out with us if we can get it MOTd tomorrow. Mate of mine has just bought a Jeep Cherokee! If we can get both cv joints done, fit the new exhaust, new springs and shocks on the rear, new steering damper and sort an electrical issue with the indicators in time to get it in for it's retest!!

OH bugger. got new years day planned out ian. would love to get out, been stuck in doin the bloody bathroom all week. sat or sunday would be good for me.
