Mine is fitted and ready to rock now, though i don't have an SWR meter, so kinda just plug and pray! :lol:
You can borrow my SWR meter, you might need all the range you can get in Morocco if you break down! It is just a case of adjusting how long the aerial is by about 10mm using the little grub screw thing.

So we know who's coming, and what time to turn up, are we planning on lunch or binging supplies with us?
Also, what channel do you guys use, so i can keep my ear out on the way!
Anything other than myself, the truck, Sam and CAKE I need to bring?
I reckon seeing as we are buying breakfast, bring lunch with us. I need to find the camp stove as it seems to be hiding...
Bring a mug if you want a brew, we will bring tea bags, milk and sugar.
No idea on channel, none on mine pick up anything

I'm easy either way on lunch. I'm more for taking a butty to eat en-route and getting more lanes in but happy to stop for lunch if that's what others want to do.

Only ever use the CB for laning trips or when in a group abroad so someone pick a number (not 19!) and that's what we'll use

I'm fine with eating on the go/waiting for the poxy Defenders to hurry up! :lol: So i'm happy. Will bring cake too. I'm hardcore! So long as the Disco is too....
I vote 10, just until we get there, then if people are using that we can switch. Just so i can listen out while i'm on the way... you know... banter from afar!

Bad, we've had light rain all day! Forecast was snow but instead the rain has taken a fair bit of that away except on the higher ground
Good, just on me way to pick the Disco up after taking three days to get through the MOT!! Bloody ABS
So roll on Saturday and hopefully we'll get a bit more snow, not rain, before then or even on the day

Rain means mud and big puddles sorry yes must be sad and grown up
Changed the oil this afternoon and had a minor spilage
On the plus side the stove is fueled and ready and it burns like a rocket
Car is packed up with a shovel, high lift jack, jump leads, fat tow rope and a few tools as I'm working tomorrow and out on Friday night and I have to say I'm really looking forward to Saturday
