Had a great day today checking some lanes out with Ian.

There are some great challenging ones, some which took a few attempts, diff lock and low box. A warning though, they are pretty scratchy. I snapped my CB ariel off, I never even got to test it!

I'm looking forward to this......

Be careful with what you write - this is a public forum. Don't write anything contentious that the numpties can use against us

'some great challenging ones, some which took a few attempts, diff lock and low box' does not help our cause

It was because of slippery rocks, not mud, but I kind of see your point. Im pretty careful with pics etc.

Looks good to me, if not a little bit tight! I think some good communication might be in order so we know what to expect.

Shame about the CB James! where about did you have it mounted?

Pagin, I thought D2's were a little bit more house trained than that! ;)

The aerial was mounted on the roof rack using a gutter mount, but it sheered straight off!

theres an app on google play for android phones to work as a cb over voip as long as everyone has the app they can talk to each other

It's the time of the month for mine (power steering fluid leak)

Who needs power stearing?! Just don't stop with you wheels facing the wrong direction and keep your thumbs out of the way :D

It sheared what off? The bracket or the actual Aerial? Sounds like it made a nice mess of it either way.

Just the bracket which sucks as it was nicely wired in with trunking and everything.

Will get on to thunderpole and see if they will send me another one. I think I will just drill a hole in the roof rack and mount it that way this time...

Some good weather warnings for snow in the next couple of days, maybe a bit high though for us.

We still gonna try and go if there is snow? Maybe we should have a convoy getting there from Ashbourne if so

That sounds a bit frustrating! Mines fitted to the lightbar but so that it is protected a little from branches and such, hopefully that should make the difference!

As for a convoy, might be an idea, il probably have to pick you up part way there.

Sounds epic! Gonna have to bring a lot of cake at this rate....

If it's really snowy I'll detour past Ashbourne and tag along, if that's alright?

Mine was super clean yesterday!

Even my Freeby isn't clean and that's just my work car....
yeah we can meet in Ashbourne. Sounds good!

Cleaning on the Sunday after Saturday laning is important! Keeps everything in tip top shape and you can see whats broke ;)

Unfortunately I haven't had chance to wash mine for a whole month, It was not fun running wires and bits of mud dropping on you all the time.
