Well wrasse69 was last online yesterday at 8.00pm, which is before bump updated the list, so he may still surface!

Just did some digging and he has sold his Freelander and is picking up a defender on Saturday morning.

Does this mean he'll be more likely to come or less likely to make it?! :D
 
The good news is I went out in the disco for a few hours last night for a shakedown and it seems fine, gonna spend a night in the shop tonight fettling but basically I think it is good to go for Sunday! :D

The bad news is it is only Thursday so anything could fall off in the meantime! :rolleyes:

Leave the tow bar on or not on the Rangie it's a good recovery point but is a hell of a plough it's still got the front valance on and everything, I see damage ensuing :D
 
There will be some damage at hollinsclough if you take the towbar off and are not careful but tbh it will also be a hinderance, just take it super steady on the big steps.

I ran mine without towbar from the very start and it was fine.
 
Running my RRC on standard 205/16 front spoiler tow bar done stanage twice hollingsclough 3 or more n they all intact !! Towbar protects tank !! I know just gave mi truck kiss of death !!!

I'm thinking that... might get one to try out and if it works get a second... I think the comfort of the driver is far more important of that of the passenger.
 
Was going to offer warm seating however girl on girl scrap sounds like you pushed the boat out on entertainment for the lads !! I will bring the oil !! Lol
