What tyres you running? Looks like you should have ****ed that
I've got All terrains on the front and General grabbers on the back, they just clogged with the clay and just span, even with diff lock on the left wheels span but not the right.
 
Im running Cooper Discoverer STTs, they work well, tend to force some muck out... but i still get stuck!

Looks good man, ive got to make another trip down there was so much fun!!

I'm looking at getting some new wheels, something like sawtooth alloys but there so expensive and I'm still not sure what to get, the cooper D stt's look good.
Yeah it's a great place to go, good views and some good byways.
 
Just bought some sawtooth alloys with cooper discoverer stt tyres, cant wait for them to arrive, cant believe I just spent just under a months wages on them! :eek:
 
Bastard. I want Sawtooth alloys or Mach 5s, but I expect I will just end up painting my Boost alloys gunmetal :D

Excellent tyres though, excellent on road very good off road, my opinion anyway.

Haha, I was going to get bfg mud terrains but apparently the coopers are just as good but also cheaper.
 
Fitted the wheels but couldn't get the Pistons back into the calipers so didn't change the pads, I need a bigger water pump spanner!



I think it looks great!
 
When I've got pistons to retract, I use a big screwdriver to lever them back in. Or possibly a pry bar if one's available. And let the excess fluid escape out of the reservoir somehow. Take it slowly and I'm sure it'll work with everyday tools. Sometimes it's a bit frustrating with the four pot brake callipers because as one goes in the others come out, rather than sending the fluid back up the pipe to the reservoir.

Yeah I tried a screw driver and bent that so tried a crow bar, then bent that also, I got of the Pistons in before I tried levering it, but I just broke the spanner doing it, Ffs. I also tried mole grips and caught the palm of my hand in the mechanism, which was what finally made me give up.
