tis a long shot, if you insure for 5k and they find it has done 12k you can be sure they will not believe you or at worst find a way not to pay up. Am very cynical with insurers after being stiffed in the past and wouldnt like to see someone lose out for a few quid.

Have a look at some quotes and see what the difference is.
 
Bob, its yours surely that puts the price down by atleast 3k...... do you want to pay me to take that lump off your hands?

theres a few tdi converted defenders on ebay at the mo that could be worth a look :) might be worth looking at one that needs a little work to help with the price and spend the next few months tidying it up / learning to weld while you get your license.
 
Yeah i think thats what im going to do, although i have seen a nice 3 series on another forum i fequant (not to do with landys) And he states this is a 3 series

any details age, engine and interior piccys?

main thing to look for is rust but a good search on here will help you find what to look for
 
also very nice. i aint an expert on series engines though dunno anything about 2.25 petrol units how long are they liely to last?
