My Defender has a habit of sometimes having a small amount of white smoke after first starting. It only happens for a few minutes then stops.
Any ideas? Thx

Thx but it has done it for sometime and seems to worse in the evening when I am leaving work ?

Are you sure it's white smoke and not steam? Black smoke is unburnt fuel, blue smoke is burning engine oil, white is normally steam.

Does it still have the cat and egr?

Mine produced white smoke when accelerating at low RPM before the turbo kicked in, or when reversing, l'm pretty sure it was unburnt diesel, as it only did it after a remap, and then stopped doing it when the ECU was set back to standard (remap removed)

No has no cat just rear box or egr valve thx

Thx for reply I am not sure if my defender has been chipped or not is there an easy way to find out ?
