Could anyone confirm if the switches/buttons on the centre console/dash of a 2005 Defender TD5 are meant to illuminate when my headlights are on?

My main dash (speedometer, clock, fuel and temp) all illuminate just fine.

I have a 2002 TD5 and the only switch in the centre that illuminates is the hazard light switch! I don't think the others are supposed to, but then I could be wrong.

They are all meant to light up, just very dim... Oddly the only one on mine that doesnt is the hazard! Unless i give it a slap

None of mine light up, except for the red/orange indicator leds to show the heated seats etc are on.

I suppose its not just a simple fix like a fuse?

Anyone know where to poor for this fault? I've now got some carling switches to wire up for accessories and I'm going to need a 12v dash illumination feed for these to light up too

If the wiring is the same as early models, you'll be looking for red/white wire behind the switches.

I'll try and get a look tonight. Are these all fed from one source?

I'd really like to know why all of them don't work
