Looking at either getting the Lucas10AS system activated and setup as an alarm/immobiliser, or fitting a new Thatcham alarm/immob.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any decent specialists in the South Wales area?

Have a look at this site :

Highly recommended but you will have to remove the 10AS Alarm module and send it.
Removing the module is a horrible job.

Thanks all.
That Technozen site looks good, but if it's a pig to remove then maybe I will think about a new Thatcham instead. I'll see if I can find a guide or something on removal.
Don't know much about Nanocom but seems like a lot to shell out if I am only going to use it once!

I had a second thatcham with proximity sensor fitted. In my head its got to be a lot harder to nick if you can't get close to it without it making noises that wake either me or my dogs

the immobilizer needs disabling via nanocom prior to any other system

Isn't it already disabled though? I don't seem to have anything active at the moment, no key fobs or anything, just unlock the door with the key get in and drive!
