Hi I'm currently rebuilding my 90 I have a few questions I haven't been able to find answers for. I swapped the gearbox for a discovery r380, I'm installing td5 clocks and when I was putting the transducer in I checked the speedo gear and it's currently running a black one as it was a disco box. Will this output anywhere near the defender running gears or be wildly out do I need to order a new one?
Anyone put led's in their td5 instruments? Is it a large improvement worth doing as I'm putting the led warning lights in aswell?
Is it possible to fit a rear wiper to a safari door as I have the plumbing in for rear wash, I don't want to connect it without a wiper.
And does anyone have any ideas for finishing off my gear tunnel/levers. As I'm running a puma dash with a disco box nothing standard is going to fit. I'm toying with either putting an old defender rubber gaitor on backwards with a bent stick or discovery gaitors. Not as keen on them though. Any other ideas?
Is it worth swapping props for discovery ones, I think they're longer? As I have a 2" lift kit and they seem more towards extended on a flat surface as they are. I heard about the prop spacers but they'll increase the angles and wear? Edit; it might be closer to the maximum length as I the Disco r380 sits further back from the longer bell housing.
Thankyou!
Probably loads more but all I can think of now!
