Hi one and all. I signed onto another landy forum a few weeks past and posed a load of quesions only to find the forum and site have pretty much gone and all my hard work was for nothing.

I hope this community is all backed up and here for the duration as i don't want to go through all that again. :)

Anyway.. Here i am.. I work as a photographer and my Defender 90 is my work horse and plaything. It's my second Land Rover 90 as only a short while ago my first Landy (K290 BEG) was stolen from outside my house. I had only had it a few months. :(

Still this one (as yet without all the bolt-ons) is much better and i look forward to honing it into my perfect Landy. :D

Nice piccy M8, i am only in milton keynes, and i think you might have spoke to my brother in law the w/end, at his garage, as he told me about a photographer who rang with the same story, anyway welcome, you should have fun here so long as you have a sense of humour, and sometimes their helpfull.
Perhaps we'll meet as i see you might be going to Donington.
 
Welcome to the site, as pigpen says a good sense of humour is required and very thick skin!!!! Site suffered a hacker problem a couple of months ago that caused it to be down, but the work that "accy" and others put in behind the scenes to create a temporary site and then restore the site to nearly full strenght shows the commitment and "love" of this forum.
 
Hackers on Landy forums.. wow.. Haven't they got anything better to do..

Cheers.. No it is my dad's farm in north wales.. He has five star self catering accommodation for £40/room (bargain) should anyone want to crash out after a hard days green lane-ing. :)

Hi i am a newbie too and so far have been looking at this site for about 1 hour and have loved all of it i want a trycicle just like that for the kid next door!!hope i continue to enjoy this fab site and hope any one near or in milton keynes would like to get in contact to chat and share any knowledge they may have as i am new to landys as well
