About to fit van sides on my 1986 90 and I cant decide which seals to get for the sides to tub.
I know the 90 catalogue says muc1333 which now supersedes, but reading on some other forums some people say earlier Series seals are much better. Are they still just a foam strip, or are they an actual rubber seal?
Any views, experience or part numbers would be most appreciated
Cheers

I fitted series seals on my rebuild. They are a foam strip. I decided to use them as I was sick of the rubber seals leaking. I used britpart seals and they don’t leak now, and haven’t done so since I fitted them almost 2 years ago.

Would that have been part number 333487 would you know?

I used Britpart defender ones on my rebuild about 4 years ago. They were foam too, not leaking yet (fingers crossed)
No idea of part number, but I could look back at my old orders?

Won't series seals be 5 inches too short?

No, they are around 2-3” too long.

I think that part number is for the 109 seals and presumably u just cut them to length

Yes they were around 2-3” too long. If I remember right, I cut one end down so it was straight, only cutting around 1/2”, then stuck it all the way round and trimmed the other end. I had the left over piece somewhere. I will try and find it.
