Defender 110 1990.

Mine came with an original jack (Screw type, big footplate) with a round tube for inserting into a jacking point. Question is where do I stick it? (Polite responses please)

in my 91 defender i have a leather flap inbetween my seats on the bulk head. mine goes there, behing the passanget seat there is a bracket and behind the drivers there is a strap. thats where mine goes.

on a 110 i dont know if its the same

Thanks but I meant where do I put it to Jack it up, not where do I store it. There is obviously a nhome for the round tubular bit but where?

on the chassi front legs, just below the bumper and on the holes in the rear cross member

The trouble with the standard Land Rover jack and the Hi Lift is you waste a lot of time and energy lifting the whole car to the limit of the suspension travel before the tyres leave the ground. And then it's very unsteady because the whole weight is on one long spindly pole. A cheap bottle jack under the end of the relevant axle is much quicker for wheel changes. They're a handy size and can live in the cubby box or behind the seats.
