I have started repairing my 110 chassis and one area that is quite bad is behind the rear wheels. I cut out a panel but the three holes had tubes attached Inside, I was curious as to what the holes are used for and will I need to renew them when I replace the panel. The picture is not my chassis but one I found just to show what I'm on about..

It’s for the damper as above. Some early 110s still had the carry-over from the Range Rover off front and rear shock mounts. Some vehicles also had double shock mounts.
