Hello All,
I am new to this forum and I am looking for a bit of advise for my 2012 LR Defender 2.2TDCI 110 Left Hand Drive. We are in The Bahamas and very far away from any experienced workshop. I am just noticing that my front axle is off to the right hand side of the vehicle approximately 1" or so. I am not the original owner so I am not sure if there was a knock at some point. The undercarriage looks pretty good. I have checked the Panhard Rod (not bent), Bushings (no movement) and Mounts (not bent) and all else seems to be ok. The anti roll bar also seems to be out of line also and you can see the spacing from the radius arms and chassis is slightly greater on one side than the other however, there is no knocking at all. I have changed all front ball joints and front anti roll bar ball joints also. Ive pulled the rear side of the ant roll bar (over the rubber bushes with the C clamps) back slightly however, the off position resumes when the vehicle is driven.
Any ideas on what could be the issue?? I would greatly appreciate the help. Regards
