Help please!!

Have been given the option of swapping my 1985 defender 90 with 1996 300tdi transplant for a 1998 300tdi disco with 2" lift hd springs and good body work.

Done a lot of work on my defender and very attached to it.

I knows my sound daft but whats the the feeling on a straight swap??? Anything to watch out for??

Why and don't

Why, well there are a few seals ht need replaced, I have to keep putting more and more money into it and I'm (well the wife) is waning child mkII an my lovey 90 is only safe for three in he font.

Don't --- why not tell me please. My heart says no but my head says its the right move....

convert ya 90 to a csw. simple and cheap enough to get side panels with windows and a pair of forwards facing seats are easy enough to fit, if a little expensive. But worth doing.

an average looking 97/98 disco is woirth £1k max a good condition 90 with 300tdi is worth double that.

more like triple the value. If you think that a 90 requires a lot of maintenance, a disco has twice as much badly made rubbish to go wrong..

Thanks folks. Decision made, I'm keeping my fender and will just devote the time to it at it deserves.

Thanks again.
