Dear All,
Defender Day is back at Pentillie Castle after last year's success. This year they are planning a bigger event with a hill climb and a Defender parts jumble. It was brilliant last year and this year looks like it will be better.

I will be there, unless calving or similar. Even so, I should be able to get there sometime during the day!

Sounds like an ideal opportunity to try out your efforts on the nice series on the hill climb!

I will bring mine up this time. We came in Marts def last year, but it is sold now, and his Minerva isnt ready yet, although well under way.

Its a 53 series 1, built as a CKD kit in Solihull, for assembly and body manufacture in Belgium, for the Belgian Army.
It is identical to a series one, except it has an unusual looking steel body.

Thoroughly enjoyed last years event and definitely recommend it worth a visit, good fun driving the off road course too.

Real pity I can't make this years event as I'll be travelling across the USA on a hog of some sort
