well looks like im buying another set every engineering place ive have tried does not have the correct tap or die size
f***ing great
i fell like setting fire to the sodding thing !

if its the same as the track rod ends, its 11/16" UNF, not "uns" - readily available on the bay of fleas:-

Try and get an HSS one ( High Speed Steel ) - not a carbon steel, as these are inferior, (and use cutting oil!!)

If you are looking at both ends then I think one end is right hand thread and the other is left so you may need two taps. If you are just doing the one end make sure you get the correct handed tap.

clean the threads on your old joint and cut 4 slots with a thin cutting disc along the threads,you then have a thread chaser
