Does anyone know why there is an inline resistor to the analogue clock on a defender and no other clock bulbs have one? Also I am trying to connect 4 new clock bulbs up and need to find the best way to do so. I don't want different multiple connections - just one really without melting any wires! Thanks in advance.

It's for the clock not the bulb.

Are these "clock bulbs" instrumentation lights?

What dash do you have? 200tdi, 300tdi, TD5 etc?

Just to say, I wired it up bypassing the resistor and it works OK - at the moment!
