hello me again I know defender chassis is 90 inch and wonder will the series 3 body I believe is 88 inch so will the body fit onto the defender chassis? I wanna do this buy a defender 90 galvanised chassis and put series 3 body and put in my disco 200 tdi engine and axles etc and use a recon defender 200 tdi gearbox l177 etc

I guess you will make it fit but its intended for a two inch shorter wheelbase, somewhere you will have to make this up. Why dont you use a 90 body?

yeah I know it was just a question of curisty etc thanks mate as I understand series 3 roof will fit onto 90 hard top??

Isn't a 90 actually 92.5 inches or summat daft like that?
