Hi all,

Does anyone know what the distance between the mounting holes is on a bulkhead (centre to centre) an what the overall height should be? I'm going to be replacing the feet on an accident damaged one so I need the references to ensure its all correct when I'm welding.

Thanks

Albert

I might have been lucky, but I didn't measure like that. The new outrigger should sit flush with the chassis . All you need, in my case was distance to the front damper mount, and use an angle finder to get the right angle vertically. Had no problems getting the bulkhead back on at all.

the front damper mount is on the axle?? or did you mean steering damper?? And he's not replacing outrigger he's repairing the mounting points on the bulkhead.

I've got a Chassis I'm renovating, in the workshop. I'll measure it up next time I'm down there, though it could be a couple of days.

Pikey should beat me to it. My bulkhead is bolted to the chassis, mid rebuild, but gearbox is in the way to get an accurate measure across. I'm lifting it off Friday night or Saturday morning as it's going off to get painted then. If Pikey, or anyone else, hasn't come back with a measurement I'll take one then for you.

Thanks but it's already welded up now, as far as I can tell it seems to be correct after taking several measurements of the chassis. It's much better than it was though there is still a bit of a twist in it but the brace I've put in to help it seems to work
