why? because I walk on top of the bonnet and wings?

it kind of saves on the paint work and getting it all dented??

do you actually know what the fokin chequer plate is for?

when we put the cp on my fender the front bolts we just drilled out a larger opening on the underside to enable a socket to get to the bolt heads..simples

regarding wiltshire landy man. i ad the same problem. did it how u said u did it. hole for cp was right over the bonnet catch. managed to get pich plyers in to hold the nut.
