What you want to chop off?
If the rear where you moving the tank to?
Chop in the middle & shrink the body work.

Both are big jobs

I am looking to move the rear cross member back to and put a 90 fuel tank under the seat

Easy to convert the back body that way. (Pop rivits & buzz saw)
You will have to make changes to the 110 seat base for the tank

Why would you want to do this change?

I like the look of it, it’s having a cummins 4bt in it. The body is the easy part. The only concern is the chassis modification. Maybe I can use a d90 rear cross member

I like both of those, particularly the Tornado.
I've seen a few pics on google of bobtailed 110's but no build details. There are a couple of build details on stretching a 90 to 100", devon4x4.com may be able to give you some advice from what I've read. It would be worth checking you don't need an IVA first though.

From Tornado Motorsport. Basically a Disco chassis with a spaceframe Defender shape shell and fibreglass body pannels.

Can be built.for as little.as £3.5k or as much as you can afford.
