Hi there, this is my first post on here. So firstly just wanna say I love the site....


I recently purchased a 200tdi Defender 90 1992 Station wagon and it's in need of a new drivers side wing. I was wondering whether all the wings for 90s have the same measurments and fittings?

I found a wing on eBay and just wanna check it will fit mine before I buy it. Cheers James

Firstly welcome to the mad house!

There were 2 part numbers (MXC9343 and ALR6842) - the latter rciming in around (I think) 1996

As far as I can tell, the one on ebay should fit just fine - think i've even read of older ones being used - just the side indicator varied

Someone will confirm or contradict shortly!

you need one with the air intake on the same side as your existing otherwise you have a lot of swapping round to do

Welcome - as above, just check that the new wing has the intake on the same side as your current one. That said, as it's the off side one, you could buy a later model one and just put the plastic vent on.

Really depends on your budget and desire for originality.
