My ex BT 300tdi 90 was nicked either last night or this morning off the drive. It is in the old BT light grey, has a distinctive roll bar welded to the chassis just behind the bukhead that has been modified to take the seat belt mounts.
It has a US style rear step and is fitted with electric windows on both front doors with the cards cut to take those switches.
Travellers sites of particular interest as there was a decent size traveller funeral locally yesterday, not that I'm suggesting anything of course!
And my bloody passport was in the locking box between the seats.

Whereabouts in Surrey? I know it's a small county but still quite big when you're looking for one vehicle. No point me keeping an eye out near Guildford if you're over in Caterham or Kingston.

Not being flippant but more details are needed to help you find your Defender

sorry to here about that mate...have you put it on landywatch
and can you list what security devices were fitted...
finger crossed you get it back mate

From Wallington but that doesnt mean its still anywhere near here, so please keep an eye out near Guilford by all means .Thanks

I havent put it on Landywatch but thanks for the heads up, I will now! It had an alarm that wasnt working at the moment (sic) and one of those handbrake locks that locks the handbrake on and that worked and was locked.

Well, well a turn up for the books literally, my Defender has turned up and I have just collected it from the police car pound. Apprently it has been parked in an alleyway in Biggin Hill for around a month so almost from the time it was stolen, not much damage or theft, they have rummaged around in it and its muddy and sinks of cow manure!

Excellent news :)

Wow your lucky, if people get them back they are usually burnt out or stripped of parts if they even get it back at all!!!

Excellent! Get a disklok and a pedal lock now!

Disklok is certainly the device to have.

Mine is still not on the road and kept in a locked and alarmed garage but it still has a disklok on it:)
