Good evening all,

replacing the old oil pressure sender on my 300, but don’t seem to have a spanner large enough to fit and remove the old one

does anyone know what size it is? Some research online has said 22mm, but i wanna be sure before I buy one

thanks

Use a shifter to gauge the size (then measure it) or to remove it.

IIRC it's either 22 or 24 mm - get a cheapo set of combi spanners - Hilka or Silverline off the bay or the zone, or Aldi - the Aldi ones I bought as consumables even have a 23 mm*, so pretty useful - about £30 well spent IMO..

*=Weirdly, 23 is a size used quite a lot on Ni$$an forklifts o_O , so a win all round :D

Buy a new sensor and take that to a spanner shop to get a spanner that fits it.

If the old sensor is a different size, a pair of mole grips will remove it.

Do you eat the chocolate spanners after removing them from the wrapper :D
