I used a ratchet scanner withwith flexible head and I didn't need to remove anything then put a hose pipe into rad and flushed through that way. I bought brass nuts to replace the chappy plastic ones.That sounds like the best course of action - many thanks
Any advice on the drain bolt in the block ?
