That's the reverse connections. Plain green is ignition-switched power from the fuse, green/brown goes to the reverse light. At the back, you should have green/brown connections on both sides- all the connections come through on the right and the relevant connections spur off to the left.
Diff lock light is switched ground- should be a blue/black wire (to the light) and a black wire to (ground).

First test is to disconnect the wires from the switch and bridge them together. If the reverse light comes on all is good with the circuit. If not, investigate for blown fuses/damaged wiring. Use a multimeter to check there is 12v at the green wire with the ignition on.

Assuming all's good with the wiring, try removing the reverse switch from the
gearbox, reconnect the wiring and see if the light comes on if you poke it manually. If so, it comes down to the mechanical position of the switch- there may be some adjustment you can make to its position.
