Hi Guys,

I am posting this on behalf of my father who is a keen off-roader. He is not 100% sure on whether he wants to sell just yet and does not know what his baby is worth (he has done a fair bit of work with upgrades and maintaining it) so I thought I would ask you guys here if you could help me with the value the vehicle. I have checked auto trader and there appears to be large variance... Depending on the value he may be looking to sell, if you have any further questions/offers on the landy I could pass the message onto my father.


Specs:

Land Rover Defender 110
1996
300TDi
140k miles

Mods/work (over last few of years):

Reconditioned gearbox
Full stainless steel exhaust
New injectors
Predator alloy wheels
Alloy spacers
Rock sliders
Springs & Shockers
Scorpion front bumper
Ali-sports intercooler

Bad points:

Rear back door needs replacing
Rear cross member had some welding done recently (passed MOT)

You'll not get a useful response here.
As you say, so many variables. Just look at what is out there and price accordingly. Your guess is as good as anyone... A few k. My guess somewhere between 2 and 3.5k.
 
5% off for the crooked sticker over the back door too...

Got a wrapper from me bacon sarnie inc some brown sauce spillage, and 1/2 a toblerone.

I'd be enjoying a box of multipack wheat crunchies if someone had followed through with their offer!
 
Condition of the chassis and how well it runs would be the main concerns for a buyer. Looks a bit unloved. I can go as high as £400 but it would have to come with a brand new Freelander 2.
