So just taken delivery of my shiny new 110 DCPU and been going over it, so far all good! Though I did notice the rear seats have the ability to fold forward but they are bolted in place at the rear with a bracket. I can't imagine the same bracket being on a regular 110 so how are the seats secured on a regular 110 and do they fold and tip forward?

There so much empty space under there I want to utilise it to store some basic tools and recovery gear. Obviously that will be a pain in the ass if I have to unbolt the bloody seats! Or does such a 'quick release' bracket of some description exist that I can fit?

How are the middle row seats secured on a regular 110?

There is a catch on the side of the outer seats which locks on to a latch on the bodywork. It's released by pulling up a lever which is roughly in line with the front of the side sliding window. Certainly no nuts and bolts involved. The mechanism is shown in this link

I will try to at the weekend when it's light. It's dark when I leave for work and get home now. I think it may be a bit tight in a dcpu tbh due to the curvature at the back of the cab. Older 110s used to use a sliding catch which may be an option if there is space to mount it to the body at the side of the seats. They are only a couple of inches long if I remember rightly

Kinell! That's somewhat steep. Go with the catch. Part number 336288. £6.74 from Paddocks. Comes in a blue bag but surely then can't mess that up

I think you had decided against the csw system on cost but these may help you to determine if it would fit or not if you could get one from a breaker
 
I see thats pretty clear mate, thank you. Im guessing that is the side of the seat?

There small bracket is on the side of the seat and this latches on to the locking mechanism on the bodywork. There is a hole in the seat bracket that locates on the fixed locking mechanism. The whole locking mechanism is located between some metal uprights on the side of the tub and which form part of the bodywork. I store my tools and a tmax compressor under the rear seat. I have the tools in 3 small Stanley toolbags that I got from B and Q for a deep sea diver each. Would be a cheaper and less hassle option?
 
For future reference, the plates that are fitted to the side of the 60/40 seats, which lock into the mechanisms use the part numbers:

AWR6005
AWR6008

Paddock doesn't seem to stock them, Craddock and a few other places do however.
