Thank you for the idea... I will look at that after I check the selenoid as Flossie suggests.

The four thin steel pipes that come off the injectors join close together on a biggish lump of metal, that's your fuel injection pump. Look above those pipes on the top of the FIP and you'll see the electrical connection on top of a round looking thing (solenoid).
