Yes, but that's different, kitchen cabinets usually are standard 60 cm (600 mm), when it comes to special measures then they often use the mm's, like carpenters and so, but will always refer to for example 6 cm and 8, where the 8 is mm, they won't say 68 mm from the start. (or they say 6 and 8, they see what they mean then). Maybe with the standardisation and so they indicate measures all in mm these days but in the past it wasn't like that and being 70 now I mean in the past .....
