Waxoil time.. don't have the means to do it myself..
anyone know any resonable Garages in Calderdale or near who'l do it at a resonable price..?

aye i do agree.. the heat allows it to creap...
But at the minute it has nothing on, so im best doing it now; rather than allowing a winter of salt ruin it i suppose..

bung the tin in a bucket of hot water while you are spraying, that'll keep it liquid enough to flow well

recon its worth doin a bodge job for now, until summer?? have no experience at all with waxoil application...

you could do a perfect job of it now, just make sure it's clean underneath and reasonably dry before you start - the only way you will ever be sure that everything has been done properly is to do it yourself

doing it on grass saves any cleaning up, but if you just warm the tin contents and don't thin the mix you'll not make much mess anyways, 2 or 3 thin coats, with a few hours between - wearing goggles is a good idea, the waxoil hand sprayer is fine, keep it clean and it'll last for a few years worth of application

ah thanks for the advise.. especially doing it on grass! only problem i have, is getting it up high enough.. suppose i should be able to struggle through, with it on some axle stands...

unless you are Sirus sized you can get a good way under it with it just parked on the flat, drive it up a couple of ramps, or even up a few blocks is more than enough to get space - you'll probably be laid flat on your back most of time anyway

sorry Sirus

im only little, should be nice and easy..
Gonna give it a try..
What should i be covering other than the chassis??
anything to watch for? and owt to not get any on?
