I was taght brickying when I was 13. not sure i was that good then.... but some jobs you are happy doing, some you would rather pay someone else to do.
Same on cars - I dont mind doing most things, but removing an ABS sensor is one I would pay for, coz if you get it wrong , it can be a pain - let someone else take that risk.
As stated before, theres a difference between a small wall in the back garden hidden away, and one on display.
