In the early spring I'm getting the LSE mopped to bring the paintwork back up to decent condition.

I'm going to need to replace all the decals (RR bonnet/tailgate and also 'Vogue LSE' on tailgate).

I checked Rimmerbros a few months ago and they had them, didn;t bother ordering them and now they appear to be out. I have search intensively online for someone else who could provide these but with no luck.

Anyone know where I could possibly get them, or if not anywhere I might be able to approach to have them made?

Cheers guys

I bought a set off Ebay for about £10, came with 2x Range Rover stickers, 1x Vogue SE (he did LSE as well) 1x TDi and 1x V8 - about a tenner + a bit of postage. Bargain!

Its a polishing attachment to cut the paint to bring it back to life. It's what garages do when they do a partial respray to remove oxidisation on the old paint to make it match better

Cheers Mike.

What Marty said. In fact I'm under the impression that a mopping can bring the paint up better than it would have even after the original spray. If done well all swirls and imperfections from the spray will be removed. I know of at least 1 paint specialist who will mop immediately after they have sprayed a vehicle.

I had checked ebay but found nothing a few times (as now). Would there be any chance that you could check the seller name and let me know, maybe I could contact direct and see if they can get hold for me.

Cheers mate, very kind indeed.

Oddly he has a set up for sale. I re-searched but it won't come up unless I go through his page. Oh well at least I have that! Thanks

Yeah, bit odd! I think you'll have to contact him for LSE decals but shouldn't be a problem :) Very prompt delivery too - haven't actually fitted mine yet, car is too filthy and it's too cold for them to stick at the moment I reckon!

Most new cars were 'mopped' before delivery when I done an apprenticeship at a ford main dealer 10 years ago.. Just don't overdo it or you'll burn thru!

Ah fair doos.

I'm leaving it to the (expensive) professionals as the paint is super thin around the panel edges. I'll let them calibrate depths, not willing to risk it myself, especially after the quotes I've had for a respray; the worst of which was Lookers in Battersea at £7.5K! :0
