Okay as they say stupid is as stupid does, so I'm going for the prize of stupidest question this year. I have heard people on the forum talking about de cating and de egr valving their Disco's. Can anyone tell me the benifits of doing this? I know what both of these parts do and may possibly do this with my 03 Td5. My Disco runs perfectly and gives me no trouble and I'm worried about possibly upsetting the engine and running into a world off trouble. The only complaint I would have is it's a little on the thirsty side ( about 20 mpg ) I just put this down to being automatic. So has anyone any thoughts on de cating and de egr valving a Disco?
