Hi

Recentley took off the old exhaust with the cat in it and put a straight through one on , does anyone know of any scrap dealers in Surrey who will buy the old one?

got £25 for mine... which makes me £6 profit for taking it off! lol

I got £56 for the original cat of my 300tdi at the metel dealers !

Where do you get that rubbish from?

I get £45 for 300tdi ones at my local metal merchant.

Just google scrap metal in your local area and give them a call for what they are offering.

A good one should fetch £45 a rattly one about half that.

Because diesel cats don't contain platinum or other presious metals, they aren't a true catalytic converter in the same sence as a petrol ones they are a particulate filter

Well don't tell that to my local metal merchant. They have brought 2 from me so far and knew what vehicle they were from
