Yep I expected it to come out a lot lighter than it did, But I wasn't going to change once I'd started.
I actually really liked the colour when it was done but wasn't sure when I first started.

Have a look near the end of my build thread and there's loads more pictures to give you a better idea of colour.
It looks different colours in different lights. I've been told it looks green, brown and bronze. It is definitely not gun metal grey.

I thought exactly the same as soon as I started painting. But I'd bought 5 litres of it so wasn't going back once Id started.

Oh and that blue looks good :)
 
Because im pressed for time and need to things to be simple as they can be, and because i want to get my bulkhead sprayed by someone that knows what there doing and will need a paint code, im going for landrover gun metal grey just need to find a paint code now anyone??

Were did you end up getting the paint from?
And are you going to paint it your self?
 
Local company, just easier, yer got a big workshop can spray in and a big compressor so :) going with 2pack paint soo see how it goes lol
 
Well bulkheads coming and i got to get my arse into gear, need to order parts sand till i cant sand no more and get bolting bits together, got my inner arches done in stonechip and rebuild my front wings now and get things into big bits ready to line up and bolt on :)

Ah fair enough. You using a proper air fed mask then? Or just a disposable one?
I just used a disposable one when I remembered that is :eek:
 
I havent got a price from local yet could you recommend a good online company who can mix me the tomb raider grey i have got a paint code, will need the hardener and thinners ?
 
Looks abit darker then the Epson green, like a deeper green,,, I messaged him asking what it is ha
