Hello everyone, just spent a few good hours on an failed attempt to remove the dashboard.
I've removed all the bolts, the airbag, audio, steering wheel, switches cabling and all.
However it won't come off, there seems to be something holding it somewhere in the middle towards the dash, I am suspecting some cabling or is it possible the air vent steel cable to be attached to the dash? It's definitely now a screw, as it's wiggling around. Seems like a cable to me.
I have another dash here and looking behind it I cannot simply understand what can be there.
Did someone remove it before and give me a hint/tip please?

I also suspect I have to remove at least the indicator stalk to be able to pull it out through the steering bit...

Mine is foobar, some apes worked on it it's making sounds and broken in corner.

Brave man!!
I took one out of a scrap car a while back. Glad I didn't have to put it back in!!
There are many many plug couplers, I took the centre console out first. Behind that there were more plugs. The main loom is fitted to the car body. The smaller dash loom comes out with the dash.

I can put up some photos of the shell minus dash if it helps but it looks quite scary!!

Fixings were as listed in Haynes, so I guess you haven't found all the plug couplers yet.

Most of them I did, I do see some module attached where the cabling going to the cluster is going, I see is attached but no idea how to detach there is no access.
If you have a picture please post. Shame I got stuck somewhere at 90% if the way.
Thank you

Here you go - cables unplugged to get dashboard out. A small loom stays with dash.

Thanks Andy.
I did get lucky, upon the attempt of removal I found what was routed wrong and what was making the noise. So I've fixed that hence no longer need to replace, and I have to throw this dash away.
I also need to sort a couple of excess screws I have left now.
