2 months ago I had a traction control issue, which after ruling out the Haldex, it turned out to be the front NS ABS sensor, so had it replaced.
Last week I travelled to Manchester (M62), after about 40 minutes driving, the traction control light started flashing again and the car juddering. Having experienced this before, I turned off the TC.
10 minutes later I got a raft of warnings.... 'Emergency Brake Assist Not available'.. then.. 'HDC Not Available'... then.. 'ABS Fault'... followed by 'Park Brake Fault'. The car ran okay, with the occasional judder.

Parked overnight and all cleared. 30 minutes down the M60... all started to happen again! This is now a reoccurring sequence?

Anyone had this issue? Solution? I'm driving a Freelander 2 TD4 2.2 2013.

Not having a FL 2 but this sounds like an ABS / wheel sensor fault as all of the errors would be linked to the wheels, could try replacing the ABS sensor probably started to get all sorts of confused. Had a similar driving experience on a BMW 1 Series when the wheel speed sensor went on that.

The car should tell you what the problem is.

Just get a code reader and read the diagnostic codes.

Not just a simple ODBII reader - that will just give you engine codes.

You need one that will talk to the other ECUs on an F2. I have an Autel MaxiAP AP200 but there are others.

You may need to use some interpretation, for example if it says it is the left hand front ABS sensor - then it could be the sensor, what it picks up from or the wiring to it.

I'm not sure why an ABS (sensor) fault would also give juddering - unless you have multiple failures and the ECUs take speed readings from them and its adjusting fuel or summat. Maybe you have an intermittent fault on the TR dial and its activating some changes or summat. But the first point of call is to read codes.

If you do a read of all systems, you will get returned a long list, that is expected, most will be historic. I'd clear them and see what comes back or won't clear. You can always come back for advice once you have codes.
