The only thing I can think of is, the centre dash moulding is different on models that didn't have the option ofNo way the cubby will come out on my 2 non sat nav versions.
I think I do, but it's going to be a palaver to change out it seems.Does thee need a new clock, I have one sat in the spares box?
Sounds like a faff yes but it's only about 30 mins work having just done it. The consul cheeks are the only head scratching part but they are easy once you know. I had to remove the hvac for repair and get access to the clock and didn't have to disconnect electrically anything except the switch pack and fag lighter. The hvac may possibly be left electrically connected too but as I was fixing it anyway it was removed , only 3 multiplugs.I think I do, but it's going to be a palaver to change out it seems.
Why they didn't make it removable like a Radiohead I don't know.
Strange thing is, it seems they fitted whatever was available in the parts bin on the day, there is no definitive answerThe models with the full black plastic with cubby will not come out but some of the walnut ones have a black cubby that is removable instead of the sat nav, i have a walnut one to fit to mine but the cubby part is £100 second hand or fit a satnav that does not work but i use the cubby part![]()
