Has anyone got any links or pictures to anywhere that show a D1 with a CB Radio built into/onto the dash? Either one that can be bought or a homemade arrangement.

I know these things exist outside of my head!

Raptor engineering do a dash pod, as do mud stuff. but the raptor one is better..

I like that one but the consol isnt the same on my D1...the radio is down by the diff-lock lever...

that's a 300 dash but the pod just sits on top if dash will still fit. for a cheaper option Maplins do ally , stainless steel or plastic component boxes that will fit on dash with a couple of screws and simple enough to cut out a slot to suit CB.

If you don't have sunroof controls between the visors is usual place.

I had me Ham radio unit (faceoff jobby) mounted here in the 200tfi disco.

CB Radio
100W burner for CB
min amplifier for the mp3 player (red box behind gear lever)
Face off unit for me Yaesau FT7800R Ham radio on above tunnel console.
Mp3 holder & mp3 player (right hand side of tunnel console)
Netbook holder on dash above face off unit.
Invertor for netbook (on dash behind netbook holder.

Oh and a Blue led strip light to illuminate it all

hehe. That was taken just after I'd finished soldering everything together.

Long gone now tho.. had 300tdi disco and now the 110 since those pics were taken.

Mine has a glove box space above passenger footwell my cb is mounted there its no good where pikey had his as im always upto me arse in mud n water
