Can anyone tell me what coltage the dash warning ;lights on a 300tdi should show?

All dash lights are working correctly accept my side light indicator. Initially if you tapped the dash it would come back on so assumed a poor connection in the bulb holder. I have cleaned the holder and replaced the bulb for a known good one and I removed and cleaned the multi plug connectors. Now it does not wok at all. When I checked the voltage (across the plastic circuit board piece) it was only showing 3 volts. Now that might have been poor technique as you needed about five hands to hold everything in place and I only have the two but thought I would check I am expecting to see 12 at this point.

Warning lights are either operated by applying 12v (actually about 13.8 when running) or an earth depending upon the type of circuit so 3 does sound wrong. The multiway connector would be my first place to check to see if there is 12v there. I've never really liked those connectors and Flexi pcb hence why I have a TD5 binnacle and warning light cluster waiting to go in

Cheers, I will work out which number pin it is on the multi plug and see what the voltage I am getting there is. I will also try and recruit a "willing" SWMBO to hold things while I measure at the pcb again.
