Hi

I have a 2001 TD4 5 door Freelander which I have owned for a few weeks and several of the switches no longer illuminate with the lights on.

The hazard warning switch has a similar bulb fitted to those I remember from my 96 Disco switches but is clear in the freelander as opposed to being green.

Should the Headlamp leveling switch also be illuminated ? and is it the same type of bulb ?

I also need to source a bulb for the digital clock.

Does anyone have part numbers for these bulbs, or access to a parts listing so I can ensure I get the correct parts ?

TIA

Ok, so no help there then ......

For anyone else with this issue the following may be of use.

So far I have been unable to find a part no. for the clear lamps for the dash switches.

However the green type as also fitted to the 300TDI Disco are STC 1878 and if you want/need the orange ones they are STC 1877

Clock bulb is YZQ 100110L

Hope this is of use for others

The clear bulb, as fitted to the Discovery-1, Freelander-1, and Defender (TD5 onwards) hazard warning lights switch, is - STC1205

Bulb - Clear - Genuine Land Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk

In answer to your headlamp adjusting switch question. Mine didn't light nor did the same switch on my MG ZS180. So I would guess it's a non illuminated switch, much like that of the mirror adjustment switch.

Thank you for that, I appreciate the info, its just saved me having to pull the switch with the attendant agro of getting to it, only to find out it doesnt light up anyway

I'm one of those if it should work ....... then it has to be right, got some ways to go with this project as its a daily driver too.

Cheers
