Hi all,

I have been stripping down my 1994 Disco 1 300tdi. The body was completely rotten and is mostly off.

Today I removed the dash. The car started before…now doesn’t. I thought perhaps it was some circuit loop issue. So I plugged everything back in (gauge cluster, buttons etc). Yet still nothing. It turns over fine, but it doesn’t fire.

One thing I’ve noticed, the window lift ecu seems to be click every few seconds. Unsure why.

I did some googling and people kept referring to the inertia switch when a car fails to start. But I have looked everywhere and I cannot see one. All over the bulkhead, under the wash bottle, under the air box! Is there even one on a 94 car?

Anyway…does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks

Try this

it is possible to disarm the Immobiliser by using the EKA (Emergency Key
Access) Code.

To use an EKA code to disarm a
vehicle, perform the following sequence:
Insert the key into the drivers door lock and turn to the lock position.
Wait for 5 seconds.
Turn the key to the unlock position the number of times indicated by the first digit of the EKA code.
Turn the key to the lock position the number of times indicated by the second digit of the EKA code.
Turn the key to the unlock position the number of times indicated by the third digit of the EKA code.
Turn the key to the lock position the number of times indicated by the fourth digit of the EKA code.
Turn the key to the unlock position.

Think default code is 1515

Thanks for that. Unfortunately the car doesn’t have its doors on. But it was working fine without them. Just since the dash came out

Put 12v’s to the fuel solenoid on the fuel pump.

Should see one wire on bulkhead side of fuel pump, spade end. Near injector pipes.
