The missus keeps getting these 2 lights on the dash. Always disappears when she pulls up at home and plug in on the diagnostic after dosent show a fault. Iv seen it for myself tonight and as we pulled up they went off again.
What causes them dirty sensor some were? Soz about the quality of pic

Don't think her arm could reach that low to nock it wile driving haha. but I don't think so no, she would have to keep nocking it whilst driving aswell for it keep coming on
 
Does your diagnostic show live data from the sensors? That could be helpful in tracking down intermittent faults where it doesn't set a code, or maybe only a pending code which clears itself.
 
Don't think that has anything to do with the switch by the gear shift as you have both the TC and HDC lights lit - ie 2 Amigos.

Can you not get her to drive and you read the diagnostics while lights are on?

However, what are you using to read the codes? If you're just reading the 'standard' ODB codes they won't be returned - these lights are thrown by the ABS ECU not the engine's ECU. You will need a diag device that you know will talk to the ABS ECU.
 
Knowing if it is a petrol or diesel would be helpful;)
The brake light switch is easy changed, so check that first.

See what codes are stored with the diagnostic;)
