Yep as you say:
2 in speedo
1 in fuel gauge
1 in temp gauge
1 in clock (if fitted)

Fitted 12v capless led's in my dash and they make a BIG difference at night ;)

(thread in the 90 section)

7 Pages I'm still none the wiser and now I learn there's another thread in the 90 section!!!!!! I'm giving up! I can't speed in it anyway and the light comes on when I'm low on fuel!

the "12V" LEDs Ive seen have integrated resistors, which are usually crap as they are so small, and burn out quickly.

LED calculator for single LEDs

works well, Ive got LEDs in my dash, 10mm (yes, 10mm) left the green lens in the fuel and temp, the light is more blue than green with the lack of red in a white LED, 4 white LEDs running off one resistor for the clocks.
Retrofit ones for the rest of the dash lamps bar the hi-beam and indicators, hi beam was too bright, and indicators didnt work...

will take a piccie later on if i remember.

When I bought my landrover only 1 of the dash bulbs works so as I was driving past our local landrover specialist I nipped in for some. He said whatever you do don't fit 5w bulbs in the dash as over time it will melt it.......
