With a 110 I noticed there seemed to be a different dash than the usual ones, is there anyway to take out the military dash and install a standard 300tdi dash?

In what way is it different, do you mean the centre panel containing the rotary lighting switch?

You can remove the military rotary light switch and fit a standard light switch if that is what you mean, other than that the dash is virtually the same as a civilian version.

Or does it have the big bulky waterproof instrument binnacle?

Had been thinking about doing this myself............
Anyone point me in the direction of a useful thread on here showing how to do it?
