Photo of the new MUD dash console. Pretty easy to fix and looks like factory fittment :)
Stainless grill and light surround went on tonight and (once I had realised that the plasic light surround should not have been removed!) was very simple and looks good.
Just got the wiring for the various lights to figure out now.

Looking sweet, I have the mini mud on top where the ashtray was...looks great and has a battery meter and boost gauge in it

Looks good, I have one in mine and think they're the business. Well worth it.

Think im gonna nick your phoneholder idea.lol

i have one of these for sale if anyone is interested- bought for the 300tdi but we now have a td5...never got round to fitting it!

Very nice mate, be good to see a picture of the stainless grill and surround - I've been thinking of doing that.

Cheers Guys. Phone holder is £5 special from halfords, allows phone to slide where mounted. Radio is also a halfords 1/2 price JVC with bluetooth to the phone - fantastic. Switches will be for main spots, middle roof, outer roof (cheers to another link for his idea), rear work light and a couple of custom uses! Passengers so far have been blown away by mixture of real off-roader landy but with all the techno tweeks of a jap gin palace :)

Will have to look into those phone holders.

The carling switches from MUD are brilliant aren't they.

Stainless grill and light surrounds as requested by rob. looks good against the black checker plate but a bit worried about if it will allow too much mud and gunge onto the radiators

My Defender 110 has a similar dash conversion only the rear wiper circular switch is not just left hanging loosely in my tray. What's the best way of somehow incorporating it into the new dash, can I just get the appropriate switch, replace one of my blanks and rewire the old switch?

If you get in contact with MUD they have a Carling switch that has been modified to work the rear wash wipe, i have one in mine and it works well :)

Regarding the stainless steel grill, by the looks of it that will let in less muck that the standard grill.
