I have introduced myself to the board and would like to update on initial checks on my project (ish) 1999 P38 2.5D automatic. I found it was so sluggish up to the point that it felt almost dangerous. I know what you are thinking, aren't they all until you put a PSI box in them? Myself and my friend shoofled around in the engine and found that the EGR vacuum line had been disconnected and the boost pressure sensor line had been completely taken out!
Reconnected the EGR and a new boost pressure line and it immediately became a new beast! Albeit with the ABS and TC light still illuminated 3 days before the MOT is coming up....
Still no closer to being able to open the lower tailgate.
